'The Emperors New Clothes '

With this surrealist painting  I have juxtaposed the theme of we humans proceeding with life as usual (as shown

 by the toy boat on a dead calm sea) and the idea that certain elements of our natural world may have to make

some extreme adaptations  in future in order to survive.   (The tropical emperor penguin) On one side of the

painting is a scene that is languid and untroubled while on the other side is an image that is inconsistent with

 this and defies both form and facts as we have come to know them.
